Safety

Our safety director has two jobs. One
part is prevention, the other is dealing
with the injuries that do occur. Please
be sure that the safety director receives
a completed accident form filled out by the
parent or doctor in case of injury. If
there is an accident or injury that needs
medical attention, the safety director needs
to be notified within 72 hours. You
can help insure everyone's safety by picking
up dangerous objects on and around the fields.
*Players, parents or coaches are NEVER, under
any circumstances or for any reason, to climb
or hang on goals.
Please make sure that the goals are secure
prior to each game. Serious injuries
can and have occurred by falling from goal
structures.
Eyeglasses need to be secured with an athletic
strap.
If at ANY TIME a child is injured on a field
and the child cannot remove themselves from
the field under their own power or their
parents power, that child will remain on
the field until paramedics arrive. The
game will be called until the child is safely
removed.
SAFETY FIRST!
A player MAY NOT wear earrings, jewelry,
watches, removable dental retainers, or anything
else deemed unsafe by the referee.
Players may not chew gum.
Players will not be allowed to participate
in practices or games with any type of cast,
splint, or brace.
Our Safety Director is: Shancee Smith, 416-8054 Please feel free to contact her with questions
or concerns. |
